The Iowa Girls Coaches Association has announced the 2017 Softball All-State and All-District teams. Dallas County has athletes on each teams.

In Class 2A, Van Meter’s Meagan Blomgren was recognized as a Second Team All-State member as well as an All-District selection.

Bulldog Mackenzie Blomgren was also chosen as an All-District member.

Both Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Dallas Center-Grimes had athletes on the Class 4A All-State teams.

Ashley Tennant was the lone Tigers recognized as an All-State member. Tennant was a Second Team All-State selection.

Tennant was also chosen as a member of the 4A West District Al-District team, as was Abbie Hlas.

The Fillies had two athletes on the All-State teams. Senior Brooke Kramer was chosen as a First Team All-State selection and freshman Riley Hall was recognized as a Second Team All-State member.

Both Fillies were chosen as part of the Southeast District All-District team as well.

Waukee had two girls on the All-State team. Seniors Morgan Nealey and Sarah Schaefer were both recognized Class 5A First Team All-State members.

Both Warriors were recognized as part of the 5A West District All-District team as well.
