The wildly popular Toddler Fest will be held Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m.- noon at the Dallas County Fairgrounds. There is no admission charge.

This is the third-annual Toddler Fest, which has grown and improved each year. Parents of children age 5 and under will find this to be a very child-friendly place. It’s like a walk through the Varied Industries building at the Iowa State Fair, only every booth is geared for young children.

Free activities will include face painting, games, crafts appropriate for little ones, and a petting zoo. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Benevolence program will again offer free photo ID cards made right on the spot for your children.

Every toddler attending will receive a free book, get to mingle with super heroes and princesses, and interact with some really cool stuff from the Science Center of Iowa. Additionally, the parents will be able to gather information from many local organizations such as local preschools, 1st Five, and Dallas County Public Health.

Toddler Fest is brought to you by 4R Kids Iowa and the Dallas County Library Association. See you Saturday, May 7. Hint: use the address 28059 Fairground Rd, Adel on your GPS.
