Dallas Center-Grimes girls’ golf tied for third place in the Little Hawkeye Conference Meet on Monday, May 2.

The Fillies combined for a score of 431. The winner, Pella, took 386 strokes.

DC-G senior Julia Austin finished fifth overall with an 18-hole score of 96. Austin scored pars on the first, 16th and 17th holes. She also never took more than six strokes on any hole.

According to DC-G coach John Klaessy, Austin’s performance earned her a spot on the all-conference team.

Aubree Klug golfed a 108 at the conference meet and ranked 16th overall. Maddie Calease was the 18th ranked golfer on Monday and shot a 110.

Megan Dillivan finished with 117 strokes, including a par on the second hole. Sarah Rauschenberg’s final tally was 118, and Brooklynn Herrmann ended with 128 strokes.

DC-G’s next meet is scheduled for Monday, May 9 at Beaver Creek Golf Course against Newton and Norwalk.
