Mercy Clinics is excited to announce the opening of a new clinic in Grimes, conveniently located just off of Highway 44 at 250 S.W. Brookside Dr. The clinic offers family medicine and pediatric services and is now open to patients.


The 14,400 square foot clinic includes 24 patient exam rooms, a laboratory for on-site testing, a procedure room and X-ray services. The clinic’s medical staff includes a family medicine physician, physician assistant and a pediatrician, with capacity to add more providers in the future.


Downing Construction is the construction partner.


Kurt Klise, M.D., who formerly practiced at Mercy Clinics Family Medicine Perry, will provide family medicine care. Dr. Klise has been a practicing physician for 35 years and has worked in Perry since 1986.


Also providing family medicine care will be Jennifer Messersmith, PA-C. Jennifer most recently practiced at Mercy Clinics Family Medicine South and prior to that worked at Mayo Clinic Health System in Owatonna, Minn.


Nicole Stoecken, D.O., will provide pediatric care. She has practiced at Mercy Clinics Pediatrics West since 2015.
